Q: What assembly is required for Nordhaus furniture pieces?
A: Nordhaus items feature precision click-lock dowel joints that require minimal or zero tooling. Step-by-step illustrated guides and hex wrenches are included in every flat-pack box.
Q: How should I care for untreated oak, birch, and matte ceramics?
A: Wipe natural wood surfaces with a dry microfiber cloth; apply food-safe mineral oil or beeswax twice yearly. Ceramics are dishwasher-safe but hand washing preserves matte glaze longevity.
Q: Are your timber materials certified sustainable?
A: 100% of our wood is sourced from FSC-certified sustainable Scandinavian and Baltic forests with complete chain-of-custody tracking.
Q: What happens if a furniture component arrives damaged during freight?
A: Simply snap a photograph of the damaged part and box; we dispatch a replacement part within 48 hours via expedited freight free of charge.

Pictures do not do the tactile finish justice. It brings an aura of serene Scandinavian calm to the space. Absolutely love it.
